Dawn earned her B.S. in Accounting from Wright State University. She joined Battelle & Battelle LLP in July 2006, with over 10 years of public accounting experience in Dayton, with the national accounting firms of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) and Arthur Andersen LLP. During her tenure with PwC, Dawn served as a firm-wide control specialist focusing on implementation of SOX 404 requirements. She was one of only 400 individuals selected nationally, within the firm to serve in this role.

Dawn has extensive experience with SEC registrants. In addition to recurring accounting and audit services, special services provided under her leadership have included assistance with private placement offerings, comfort letters, acquisition transactions and internal control attestations including the implementation of SOX 404.

Dawn has served as lead manager for three multi-national Fortune 500 clients (NCR, Sara Lee and Chemed), providing consulting and attestation services under the requirements of Sarbanes Oxley Act of 2002, including SOX 404 implementation. At each company, she was responsible for project management, training of domestic and international staff, developing templates, supporting documentation and testing requirements, and presenting results to the executive management teams and Audit Committees. She also has acted as the liaison between the IT auditors and the company, where the company had over 200 locations globally. In addition to her public accounting experience, Dawn worked as an Internal Audit Manager for MeadWestvaco for approximately a year and a half.

Currently, she is a member of the firm’s Quality Standards Committee and SEC practice group. She is a member of the OSCPA and the AICPA.
